Welcome to Hawaii Center for Advanced
Communications Connection One Site
HCAC is proud to be a part of the
NSF I/U CRC “Connection One” for
Telecommunications. Including the University of Hawaii and other
universities in the Connection One Partnership, originally proposed
by ASU, represents a strategic move that is expected to help broaden
research services to member companies and provide opportunities for
integrative/multidisciplinary research efforts that are critically
needed in enabling next generations of telecommunication
technologies. The University of Hawaii has research expertise in
areas that complement the strengths of ASU and the University of
Arizona. The University of Hawaii’s participation will not only
enhance research results; but, also, increase the overall center
effectiveness in making research advances and significant
contributions to telecommunications.
