Presentations should not exceed 10 minutes in length. Power Point slides/viewgraphs should not exceed 5 slides and should include the following:
Title of grant, award number, PIs and co-PIs, institution(s), and statement of research objectives or goals
Technical approach and innovation in the research and highlights of the major accomplishments related to intellectual merit
Potential technology applications and societal impact of the research
Activities and accomplishments related to the integration of research and education Presentations should give the big picture and contain effective visual images of your major accomplishments with short descriptions. Please bring your Power Point presentation on a Flash Drive so it can be loaded on a common computer; personal laptop connections will not be accommodated. You must download your Power Point presentation with the Session Moderator during registration or breaks and prior to your scheduled session. Instructions for this will be available at registration.
Posters should not exceed 3 x 4 and thumbtacks will be provided. The poster sessions will provide an opportunity to further explain the research and respond to questions in an environment that may promote discussion, networking and new research collaborations. Click here for the poster schedule.
